Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Ohio Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification required from AHA or ARC.
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience required. No new graduates.
  • Experience performing 60-minute evaluations and one-on-one treatment sessions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry per payer requirements.
  • Ability to delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services and supervise students as assigned.
  • Maintains professional licensure in good standing and completes required continuing education per state practice act.
  • Preferred: experience in outpatient clinic workflows, therapeutic modalities, manual therapy, and return-to-community functional programs.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Duration: 13 Week assignment.
  • Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
  • Patient Care Model: 60-minute evaluation plus treatment sessions.
  • Caseload: Outpatient orthopedic and general outpatient patient population.
  • Student Supervision: Participation in student programs as assigned.
  • Floating: May be required to float between clinic locations as needed.
