Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient clinic experience required. Experience with 60-minute evaluations and one-on-one treatment sessions preferred.
  • Experience developing and modifying individualized treatment plans, documenting goals, functional quality indicators, and letters of medical necessity.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy aides or assistants and participate in student clinical education when assigned.
  • Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education per Texas requirements.
  • Comfort with standard outpatient equipment and safe patient handling procedures.
  • Preferred: prior experience in a fast-paced outpatient or Select-style clinic and familiarity with electronic medical record documentation and charge entry.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Duration: 13 week assignment.
  • Schedule: 5x8 (five days per week, eight-hour shifts).
  • Patient Visit Structure: 60 minute evaluation and treatment sessions as standard.
  • Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
