Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $1,967 per week in Frederick, MD

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 7am - 3pm and 10:30am - 7pm Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Maryland Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) Certifications: American Heart Association BLS certification Must-Have: Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program Description: Your caseload includes post-operative orthopedic patients. You will work with total joint replacements. You will treat patients with neck and back pain. Spine rehabilitation will be part of your responsibilities. You will handle manual therapy patients. Sports injuries and general musculoskeletal conditions will also be a focus. As a Physical Therapist, you will help patients regain movement. You will work to reduce pain and help patients return to the activities they enjoy most. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating orthopedic patients. You will develop individualized treatment plans. You will deliver evidence-based one-on-one care. Utilizing manual therapy techniques when appropriate will be part of your role. You will educate patients and families about their treatment. Documentation of care using EMR is required. You will collaborate with an experienced rehabilitation team. Participation in community outreach and wellness initiatives will be expected. Preferred qualifications include outpatient orthopedic experience and manual therapy experience.
