Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active North Carolina physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred. This includes familiarity with restorative programs, documentation for long-term care, and skilled nursing interdisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Experience with common SNF equipment and procedures preferred, including walkers, Hoyer lifts, stand-assist devices, therapeutic modalities, and gait training.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.
