Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Outpatient Orthopedics Duration: Travel Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed, up to 40 hours expected Experience: Outpatient experience preferred License: Active PTA License Certifications: CPR/BLS Certification Must-Have: Acceptance of first-time travelers and new graduates Description: This position is for a Physical Therapist Assistant in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Experience in outpatient orthopedics is preferred. The role accepts first-time travelers and new graduates. The patient population is mainly orthopedic outpatients. There is no floating to other clinics required. A travel team option is available in this clinic or a neighboring clinic. A guarantee of 36 hours is provided with the expectation of working up to 40 hours. Productivity expectations are set at 60 visits per week. The assistant will see 12-14 patients per day. Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected.
