Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in inpatient acute rehabilitation or inpatient rehab facilities preferred.
• Experience treating patients with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injury, or other neurological conditions preferred.
• Experience with intensive, individualized rehabilitation programs and interdisciplinary team collaboration preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital (inpatient acute rehabilitation).
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Monday–Friday, approximately 0800–1630.
• Caseload: Inpatient acute rehabilitation patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
• Floating: May require assistance across units within the facility as needed.
