Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience treating adult and pediatric patients in both acute care and outpatient settings preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency in patient evaluation, documentation, and development of individualized treatment plans for a wide range of diagnoses.
  • Experience with gait training, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy techniques, and use of common assistive devices preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate care in a multidisciplinary hospital environment and provide patient/family education and appropriate referrals.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to maintain systematic records in accordance with professional and regulatory guidelines.
  • Prior experience in a community hospital or rehab service line is preferred.
