Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience treating geriatrics and orthopedics is required.
• Experience working with students and young adult populations preferred (e.g., Appalachian State students).
• Some neuro treatment experience preferred.
• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting required.
• Ability to work in a small, tight-knit clinic environment required.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
• Patient mix: Geriatrics and orthopedics primary; students from nearby university and some neuro caseload.
• Clinic pace: Small, tight clinic with a typical daily patient volume of approximately 12 patients seen and 14 on the schedule.
