Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active PT license in Texas or a valid Compact License required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience in a long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing setting required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Ability to perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, document per facility and accreditation standards, and supervise ancillary staff as required by state law.
• Preferred: experience with discharge planning, quality improvement activities, and AIDET communication technique.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift Pattern: 8-hour days, 40 hours guaranteed.
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities per client needs.
