Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Current, active and unencumbered Delaware physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC.
  • Home Health experience required. Must be experienced with home evaluation, treatment planning, and caregiver instruction.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical physical therapy experience preferred. This preference includes prior experience in home health, outpatient orthopedics, or skilled nursing settings.
  • Experience supervising and delegating to PTAs and home health aides preferred, including ability to provide supervision consistent with state regulations.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance as home visits are required.
  • Proficiency with basic computer functions, electronic documentation, e-mail, and online training platforms.

  • Facility Type: Home Health.
  • Shift Name: Evenings.
  • Shift Pattern: 5x8.
  • Position Type: Travel (temporary help).
  • Clinical Responsibilities: Perform patient evaluations, implement therapeutic services per physician orders, and coordinate care and discharge planning.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise and evaluate PTAs and home health aides as assigned.
  • State-Specific Practice: Must meet Delaware state practice and documentation requirements. Be prepared to follow additional state regulations if assigned to patients in other jurisdictions.
