The unit accepts first-time travelers. The facility serves patients across various age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 33. The physical therapist will engage in various techniques and skills such as assessment, pain management, and rehabilitation therapies. The position requires experience with adaptive devices, mobility training, and functional exercises. Knowledge of multiple conditions including neurological, orthopedic, and geriatrics is essential. Skills in patient family education and discharge planning are also needed. The role requires a high level of communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.
