Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
  • Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience evaluating and treating general outpatient orthopedic and geriatric populations in a hospital-based outpatient setting preferred.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive PT evaluations including strength, range of motion, coordination, ambulation, transfers, and bed mobility assessments.
  • Demonstrated competency in developing individualized plans of care and documenting in accordance with APTA standards of care.
  • Experience supervising PT assistants and coordinating treatment team activities preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital outpatient department.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Monday–Friday, 0800–1630. Alternate schedule option: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 0700–1730.
  • Patient Population: Orthopedics and general outpatient, including geriatric patients.
  • Responsibilities include evaluations, evidenced-based treatments, documentation, participation in meetings and education, and maintaining a safe work area.
