Off- site outpatient center for all three disciplines (2.5 mile distance, 8 min drive/one way). OT, ST service home health clients at Mercy (located OP Center) T, F OT, as needed ST (small volume)- Certs: BLS and CA license PT,OT/ST- EMR: Cerner B (upgraded version)- Therapy Leaders: Therapies (1) lead inpatient therapist, (1) therapy supervisor, (1) Director of Rehab Services- Therapy Aides/Licensed Staff: (3) outpatient, (5) inpatient, (1) PTA OP, (2) inpatient PTA s (1) COTA OP, (1) (PD) COTA, (2) OP OTR, (2) IP OTR (includes 1 OT (T), (5) PT s (includes 2 T), (3) PD PT IP, (2) PD PT OP, ST (2) includes 1 Traveler- Weekend Requirement: Have worked PT travelers on 10 hour schedules splitting the weekend W-S and Sun-W (has worked out well); OT, ST none and at 8 hour schedule- Holidays: none- Scrub Color: Burgundy polo or long sleeve shirt, black pants, and shoes- Tele: 34, although all fours are capable of having telemetry on patients- Vents: Varies, 2-4 , at times up to 6- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalists, Residents, and Telemedicine intensivists in ICU- Wound Care therapistsInpatient have 3 (2) PT, (1) PTA- RT 24/7: yes- Pharmacy 24/7: yes- Shifts: 8 hours , but willing to consider 10 hours for PT travelers- Floating: Yes , OT (IP/OP/HH), ST (primary OP required with geriatric and pediatric experience/ ideally Vital Stim as well, as needed IP to relieve IP or support IP ST, PT (inpatient acute hospital)- Floor specific orientation: General department orientation with skills checklist and assigned clinician- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: IP adult and geriatric population ( orthopedic, neurological, medical, pulmonary complications), OP peds to geriatrics diverse patient population. OT hand therapy a big component, ST pediatrics is a big component- Additional Notes: JCAHO certification for Stroke (NIH certified), TJP (elective hips and knees), Early mobility program, vent early mobility level 2. 1 hour to Yosemite, population 70K + Merced, 2 hours to Monterrey Bay, SF, and Sierra Nevada range (diverse area for weekend get- aways) Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting BSN License to Trauma Level: Care Shift to Friday, 930 1800 Required (AHA) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Contract Weeks:91
