Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist for a contract-to-hire position in Upper Marlboro, MD. This travel assignment involves providing exceptional physical therapy care to patients, primarily in Prince Georges County and Montgomery County. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in a healthcare setting without the need for on-call duty.

Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist
  • Perform physical therapy evaluation and treatment of patients based on physician orders/referrals
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools
  • Review patient records for diagnosis, medical history, precautions, and contraindications
  • Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to optimize patient independence and function
  • Regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans and modify them as needed
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and relevant parties
  • Consult with medical providers regarding patient treatment and progress
  • Recommend and assist in securing special adaptive equipment for patients
  • Maintain and submit evaluation, treatment, and billing documentation timely and accurately
  • Adhere to company policies, professional practice standards, and relevant regulations
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides in patient care and activities
  • Participate in staff development programs and maintain clinical practice skills

Requirements of the Physical Therapist
  • Compact State or Maryland State Licensed Physical Therapist required
  • Experience with Oasis documentation and Homecare Homebase EMR system
  • Great customer service and time management skills
