Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Maryland Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain Maryland license prior to start of assignment.
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience with general outpatient orthopedics caseload in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Proficiency with common outpatient equipment and modalities, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, gait training, and therapeutic modalities.
  • Effective documentation skills with familiarity using outpatient EMR systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills for a diverse adult caseload. Preferred: prior travel or float experience in outpatient settings.
