Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,366 per week in Lubbock, TX

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Client Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Acute care experience is required Description: This position requires the candidate to work in an acute care setting. The role involves direct patient care with a 1:1 patient ratio. Weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis with full-time therapy staff. No floating between units is expected. On-call duties are not required for this position. The candidate must have experience with a variety of patient diagnoses, including but not limited to orthopedic, neurologic, and post-operative conditions. Skills in patient family education and home exercise program development are essential. Candidates should have a strong understanding of body mechanics and rehabilitation techniques. The dress code for licensed staff includes solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable attire. Candidates must be flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment. Good communication skills and teamwork abilities are critical. References covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required for compliance. The candidate must commit to working 3 out of 5 specified holidays. Submission of any time off requests must be done up front during application. Inflexibility may lead to contract termination.
