The therapist will handle a variety of diagnoses including THA, TKA, CABG, general surgery, fractures, and general medical cases. This is a community-based hospital setting. The therapist will engage in patient assessments and treatment that primarily focuses on ADL and upper extremity dysfunctions. Daily activities include evaluations and planning care, providing education to patients and families, and developing home exercise programs. Skills needed encompass gait training, handling assistive devices, and executing safe discharge procedures. The position may require floating to different facilities within the state.
