Job Description & Requirements
Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)
StartDate: 11/2/2026 Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2384.00 - $2457.00

This position is based in Seattle, Washington, a dynamic coastal city framed by mountains and water. Living and working in Seattle offers easy access to outdoor adventures, including hiking, skiing, kayaking, and cycling, all within a short drive of the city. The area is known for its vibrant neighborhoods, thriving coffee and culinary culture, renowned music and arts scenes, and professional sports teams. With excellent public transportation options, walkable districts, and a strong emphasis on sustainability and community, Seattle provides an appealing blend of urban amenities and natural beauty for healthcare professionals. The clinic is a modern outpatient physical therapy practice designed to support efficient, patient-centered care. Facilities typically include well-equipped treatment areas, private evaluation rooms, and functional gym spaces with up-to-date therapeutic equipment. The environment emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and evidence-based practice, with a focus on helping patients return to optimal function in daily life, work, and sport. As a Physical Therapist in this setting, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, create and implement individualized plans of care, and provide hands-on treatment and therapeutic exercise programs for a primarily orthopedic and musculoskeletal caseload. Typical conditions may include post-operative joint replacements, sports injuries, spinal pain, sprains and strains, overuse injuries, and work-related musculoskeletal issues. Your day will involve direct patient care, detailed documentation in the EMR, coordination with referring providers, and regular progress assessments. Patient schedules are structured to allow you to balance productivity with quality care. Caseloads generally include a mix of new evaluations and follow-up treatment sessions, with appointment lengths tailored to clinical needs. You will collaborate closely with other clinicians in the clinic, such as physical therapy assistants and rehab staff, to provide seamless care and a consistent patient experience. Shifts are typically daytime and early evening hours on weekdays, with scheduling designed to meet patient demand while promoting work-life balance. The role offers opportunities to grow clinically through exposure to diverse diagnoses, participation in internal education, and the potential to focus on areas of interest such as sports rehab, post-surgical care, or occupational and work conditioning programs. This position provides a strong platform to build your outpatient orthopedic expertise while enjoying all that Seattle has to offer—an active, culturally rich city with immediate access to nature and a supportive community for healthcare professionals.
