Location: Apple Valley, California
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 5x8-hour shifts. This is a 13-week travel assignment ending November 10, 2026.
Highlights:- Acute care physical therapy position in a 212-bed community hospital setting
- Treat diverse patient populations including orthopedics, post-surgical, cardiac, and stroke rehabilitation
- Work with varied diagnoses including total joint replacements, CABG, fractures, general medical, and geriatric patients
- Collaborative interdisciplinary team with PT, OT, and SLP services
- Epic charting system with free parking available
- First-time travelers welcome with at least 1 year of experience
Requirements:- Active California Physical Therapy license (Compact license accepted if in hand at submission)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Acute care experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in gait training, therapeutic exercise, assistive devices, patient education, and discharge planning
- Experience with orthopedic conditions, cardiac diagnoses (COPD, CHF, CABG, MI), and post-stroke rehabilitation
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must be willing to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
