The role focuses on managing pain, fatigue, lymphedema, and functional limitations to improve quality of life and mobility. You will create individualized, evidence-based exercise programs and provide patient education. Coordination of care with oncologists is a key responsibility. You will manage musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular needs across the cancer continuum—from diagnosis to rehabilitation, survivorship, and palliative care. Physical therapy aims to build strength, regain mobility, and improve balance. It can also help reduce pain and prevent future injuries. You will adapt treatment for various situations, including recovery from surgery or sports injuries. The typical patient load involves 2 to 3 evaluations and 11 treatment sessions per day. You will treat one patient at a time, with evaluations lasting 60 minutes and treatment sessions lasting 30 to 45 minutes based on diagnosis. Experience with standard PT modalities, such as Estim and USD, is expected. You will work with a diverse patient population, primarily adults but experience with all age groups is welcome. Any requests for time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of upload, with no more than 5 days of requested time off accepted. Please ensure that you can be reached, and have voicemail set up on your phone. Dress code includes personal scrubs of any color or business casual attire, with specific guidelines regarding footwear and clothing style.
