Job Title: Physical Therapist - Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:15 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute setting is required. Home care experience is desired. License: State Physical Therapy License or Compact Privileges Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with your name as a listed driver. Description: Position involves providing physical therapy services in home health settings. Work is Monday through Friday, with hours from 8:15 AM to 5 PM. Employee will be on-call one weekend every six weeks. Service areas include multiple regions. Ability to effectively communicate and create positive impressions with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers is essential. Knowledge of therapy best practices is required. Ability to make appropriate physical therapy judgments is necessary. Candidate must be able to identify situations and handle them with the best possible solution. Attention to detail and observant nature are important. Candidate should have a disciplined work ethic, able to prioritize tasks and be timely.
