Job Title: Physical Therapist - Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute setting is required. Home care experience is desired. License: State Physical Therapy License or Compact Privileges Certifications: N/A Must-Have: Ability to effectively communicate and create positive impressions with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers. Description: The position requires a Physical Therapist for home health services. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. There is one weekend on-call every six weeks. Knowledge of therapy best practices is essential. The candidate should possess the ability to make appropriate physical therapy judgments. It is important to identify situations and handle them with the best possible solution. The therapist must be detail-oriented and observant. A disciplined work ethic with the ability to prioritize and be timely is necessary. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance with the candidate's name as a listed driver are required.
