Job Title: Physical Therapist - Outpatient Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: California state license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred, travel experience required, charting system experience required Description: Support outpatient services as well as some acute care. Work 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week. The position requires experience in various patient diagnoses including general medical, neurological, orthopedic, and cardiopulmonary conditions. Skills required include assessment, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and patient family education. Experience with adaptive devices and therapeutic modalities is essential. The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and social services, is expected. Knowledge of charting systems, specifically Cerner, is required. Clinical responsibilities include evaluation, reassessments, individualized program development, and discharge planning.
