Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year, specializing in lymphedema and oncology rehabilitation License: Pending License Accepted Certifications: BLS, CLT preferred Must-Have: Certified in lymphedema and oncology experience Description: Outpatient oncology rehab position available. The caseload consists primarily of cancer patients, neurologic and geriatric patients. Experience in treating lymphedema and oncology patients is essential. Average daily census is 9 patients. Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred. Travelers are welcome to apply. No on-call duties are required. Clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs. Local candidates are not accepted beyond a 75-mile radius rule. Wear your own scrubs; there is no required color. The facility provides interdisciplinary support with interpretation services. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Daily evaluation and progress reassessment of patients are expected. Skills required include assessment and treatment for conditions such as degenerative disorders, pain management, and post-operative rehabilitation. Special procedures and unit details emphasize the importance of certified lymphedema therapy. References from recent positions held may be required when applying. Candidates should have no significant gaps in employment history. Comprehensive work history is necessary, including all roles and relevant experience since August 2015. The ability to manage a diverse caseload and provide tailored rehabilitation plans is critical.
