Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: Outpatient clinic and acute care experience required License: Virginia Physical Therapy license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Traveling experience required Ability to work one holiday per 13-week assignment Description: The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient and acute care therapy services. They will work primarily in the outpatient setting, with monthly weekend coverage in the acute setting. The therapist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a variety of conditions. Daily tasks will include evaluations, development of treatment plans, and patient education. The therapist is expected to manage a patient caseload of approximately 9-10 patients per day. An understanding of various therapeutic techniques and modalities is necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse patient population. Collaboration with healthcare team members is expected to provide comprehensive patient care. Compliance with facility policies and procedures is mandatory throughout the assignment.
