Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Outpatient Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum years of experience required; outpatient clinic and acute care experience preferred. License: Virginia Physical Therapy license required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Epic experience preferred. Description: Position available for a Physical Therapist. Scheduling is primarily during the day. Shifts available are four 10-hour days. May require weekend coverage once per month. Holiday coverage may also be required on rotation with staff. Must have Virginia Physical Therapy license, which can be applied for upon offer. Education requirement is a DPT or Master's degree in physical therapy. Experience in outpatient clinic and acute care settings is essential. Responsibilities include working in an outpatient clinic and an acute setting. The daily patient census varies, typically 9-10 patients with 4-5 evaluations and treatments. Travelers must comply with required documentation protocols. Full compliance with vaccination policies is mandatory. Candidates are required to demonstrate commitment to starting dates upon selection. Previous employees must have a separation period before reapplying for a traveler position. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. This position involves patient assessments, treatment planning, and implementation of rehabilitation programs. Travelers should be adaptable and ready to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
