Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Virginia Physical Therapy license required, can apply upon offer Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Outpatient clinic and acute care experience Description: This position is for a Physical Therapist. Scheduling includes 5x8 shifts, Monday to Friday. Weekend coverage is required once a month. Being familiar with Epic charting system is preferred. All requests for time off must be included with submission. The facility is allowed to call off one shift every two weeks. May be required to work one holiday during the 13-week contract in rotation with staff. First-time travelers are not accepted. Local candidates are not accepted. The position involves working in both outpatient and acute settings, primarily outpatient. Monthly weekend coverage will be in the acute setting. A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree is required. Preferred skills include acute care, adaptive devices, assessment, and various rehabilitation techniques. This role includes working with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The average daily census is 9 to 10 patients, with 4 to 5 evaluations and treatments conducted daily.
