Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Outpatient Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday, Thursday: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Experience: 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Pelvic floor experience is a plus Proficient in use of computers Knowledge of EMR systems is helpful, training will be provided Description: This position involves working in an outpatient clinic. The clinic treats a diverse patient population with a focus on orthopedic cases. Occasionally, there may be higher-level neuro patients. The average number of patients treated per day is around 10. Typically, 1 evaluation is conducted per day, subject to schedule changes. Aides and Physical Therapist Assistants are available to assist with treatment if needed. The clinic is closed on most major holidays but may operate on minor holidays. Scrubs in a teal color are allowed, and a business uniform is acceptable. There will be an introduction to clinic policies and procedures upon starting the position. Cancellation policy allows for clients to cancel a limited number of shifts during the assignment. Charting is conducted using an Electronic Medical Record system.
