Job Title: Inpatient Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Inpatient Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 1 year required License: South Carolina or Multi State Compact Physical Therapist License at the start of contract Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 1 year of experience required. First-time travelers not accepted. Weekend requirement: 1 weekend per month. No on-call requirement. Holiday work may be required. Travelers should not float between units. Description: This position is for an inpatient physical therapist. The shift schedule is 5 days a week from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. A weekend commitment of one weekend per month is required. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. Travelers will be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. All travelers must comply with pre-start requirements before reporting. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Candidates should possess strong skills and experience in inpatient rehabilitation. BLS certification is required for this role. A valid South Carolina PT license must be held at the time of the contract start. The unit is a hospital-based inpatient rehab unit with a total of 28 staffed beds. Free parking is available for all staff. Qualified candidates must meet the outlined requirements to be considered for this position.
