Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (09:00 - 17:30) Experience: 1 year in pediatric physical therapy License: State License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Comfortable with emergency assignments as needed - Familiarity with pediatric diagnoses such as developmental delay, torticollis, brachial plexus injury, toe walking, etc. Description: This role involves working with children who have various physical therapy needs. Therapists will provide interventions for developmental delays, torticollis, and other pediatric conditions. The position includes participation in an emergency team if required. Candidates should possess effective time management and assessment skills. Experience with adaptive equipment and individualized programs is essential. Therapists will be expected to educate families and set long-term goals for therapy. Knowledge of documentation systems is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable working in a pediatric outpatient clinic environment. Familiarity with commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, and private pay options is beneficial.
