Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required. License: Valid Physical Therapist License Certifications: BLS Certification, additional certifications preferred. Must-Have: Experience with outpatient rehabilitation in a hospital setting. Description: Seeking a full-time physical therapist in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. The role includes a focus on improving patient mobility, relieving pain, and enhancing strength. Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitation programs. Must effectively communicate with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers. Adheres to local, state, and federal regulations and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety. Provides clinical supervision to assistants and aides. Acts as a clinical instructor for assigned students as needed. Plans, prepares, and implements individualized physical treatment programs. Completes and documents patient evaluations and tests per established standards. Develops and updates the patient's Plan of Care based on assessments and evaluations. Coordinates patient care with other care providers and support team members. Maintains accurate documentation related to patient therapy and care. Participates in quality improvement processes and maintains a safe working environment. Maintains confidentiality of all patient information. Retains certification and completes mandated continuing education requirements. Graduate of an accredited physical therapy graduate program is required. Skills include but are not limited to patient assessment, pain management, and therapeutic techniques. Experience with various patient populations and conditions is preferred.
