Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 5x8s M-F, with a rotating weekend (every third weekend) Hours per Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Two years' Physical Therapy experience preferred License: Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required; only if obtained license on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent Description: Located in a scenic area, this facility has been serving the local community since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, the team provides exceptional care in various services. Locals enjoy weekly farmers markets, farm-to-fork dining, stunning landscapes for outdoor activities, and beach access just a short drive away. The Physical Therapist plans and conducts treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions. The role involves an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups. The Physical Therapist completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. They use appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients. Therapy interventions are provided using suitable treatment protocols and techniques. Individualized care and discharge plans are established and communicated to the appropriate parties. Accurate clinical documentation must be completed within established deadlines. The Physical Therapist supervises assigned assistants and performs other job-related duties as assigned. Organizational Requirements: All associates must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
