JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) for a 14-week travel assignment in Bowie, Maryland. The PT will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting to improve patient mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
This role includes collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, monitoring patient progress, and delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to support optimal recovery outcomes. A quick-start bonus opportunity is available.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Implement therapeutic exercises and mobility training programs
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and recovery techniques
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
Promote patient safety and functional independence
Ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards
REQUIREMENTS
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license (Maryland or eligible compact state)
Minimum 1 year of PT experience preferred
Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Ability to work in a collaborative healthcare environment
Commitment to delivering patient-centered rehabilitative care
