JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) for a 14-week travel assignment in Lanham, Maryland. The PT will evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, helping individuals improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
This role includes developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal rehabilitation outcomes. Quick-start bonus opportunity available.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate patients and create individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Implement therapeutic exercises and mobility training programs
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and recovery strategies
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Promote patient safety and functional independence
Ensure compliance with rehabilitation standards and facility policies
REQUIREMENTS
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license (Maryland or eligible state licensure)
Minimum 1 year of PT experience preferred
Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
