Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required License: Licensed PT in PA OR Compact PT Licensure Certifications: EPIC experience required Must-Have: * Acute care experience required * Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit * Must be capable of caring for COVID patients * Tobacco and fragrance-free facility Description: Seeking a Physical Therapist for our inpatient therapy team. The schedule preference is 5 days per week for 8-hour days, but 4 ten-hour days may be considered if needed. Candidates will undergo a clinical screen for fit within guidelines. The manager will conduct interviews following a successful clinical assessment. Travelers are expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays as required. A maximum of 7 days for time off is preferred. Candidates may care for various patient diagnoses, including post-surgery and post-stroke recovery. A variety of equipment is utilized, including ceiling lifts and alarms. The patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 85. Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with interdisciplinary support is essential. Candidates must possess skills in patient assessment, mobility training, and care planning. Experience with specific conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and orthopedic surgeries is highly valued. Maintain a focus on safety and injury prevention throughout patient interactions.
