    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay and facilitating effective return to community activities
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements; actively pursue professional development through continuing education and professional activities
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Maryland
    • Ability to conduct 60-minute evaluations and 45-minute treatment sessions in an outpatient setting
    • Proficiency in clinical reasoning, treatment planning, and functional goal writing
    • Knowledge of and adherence to state and federal documentation and compliance standards
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and safe patient handling practices
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
    • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
