    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge.
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
    • Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals as required for patient care.
    • Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring design of functional treatment programs that support return to community activities.
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned.
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Maine.
    • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
    • Proficiency in clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
    • Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional code of conduct and ethics.
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and practices.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
    • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students.
    • Demonstrated involvement in continuing education and professional development activities.
