Provide physical therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with an approximate split of 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient depending on census
Treat a caseload of approximately 7 treatment hours per day across acute, observation, skilled, and outpatient patient populations
Manage a variety of diagnoses including general orthopedic injuries, fractures, neurological conditions, wound care, debility, and amputations
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTAs and therapy technicians to deliver patient-centered care
Participate in holiday rotation as needed and may be asked to precept staff on an as-needed basis
Required Qualifications
Active Texas state Physical Therapist license
Active national Physical Therapist license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
Wound care experience, including VAC therapy
Experience treating skilled nursing facility (SNF) patient populations including neurological and orthopedic cases
