Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with an approximate split of 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient depending on census
• Treat a caseload of approximately 7 treatment hours per day across acute, observation, skilled, and outpatient patient populations
• Manage a variety of diagnoses including general orthopedic injuries, fractures, neurological conditions, wound care, debility, and amputations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTAs and therapy technicians to deliver patient-centered care
• Participate in holiday rotation as needed and may be asked to precept staff on an as-needed basis

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas state Physical Therapist license
• Active national Physical Therapist license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Wound care experience, including VAC therapy
• Experience treating skilled nursing facility (SNF) patient populations including neurological and orthopedic cases
