Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 40 Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing
Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional activities and organizations
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Georgia
Experience performing comprehensive patient evaluations and developing evidence-based treatment plans
Proficiency in clinical documentation including goal writing, medical necessity letters, and charge entry
Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific State Practice Act and professional code of conduct
Commitment to patient and employee safety practices including safe patient handling and infection control
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
