Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 40 hours per week — Monday through Thursday 9-hour days with Friday 4-hour day, or four 10-hour days Monday through Thursday
Key Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring design of functional treatment programs that support effective return to community activities
Participate in student programs as assigned, providing a positive learning environment with appropriate supervision, development of learning objectives, and completion of student evaluations
Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing
Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional activities and organizations
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Georgia
Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
Proficiency in clinical documentation including goal writing, medical necessity letters, and charge entry
Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional code of conduct and state practice act
Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and safe patient handling practices
