Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to address the holistic and age-specific needs of patients
- Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions consistent with the plan of care and established standards of practice
- Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors
- Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff
- Contribute to department performance through precepting of novice employees and participation in evidence-based practice initiatives
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of South Carolina
- Experience conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
- Strong customer relations and communication skills in alignment with service excellence standards
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to established standards of practice
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Familiarity with evidence-based practice initiatives and quality improvement efforts
- Experience precepting or mentoring new clinical staff
