Physical Therapist – Acute Rehab / Inpatient

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Variable Schedule (Mon–Fri, Tues–Sat, or Sun–Thurs, 8:30am–5:00pm) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients to assess physical therapy needs
- Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the attending physician and/or consulting specialist
- Provide consulting physical therapist services across acute rehab and ICF/SNF rehab settings
- Deliver primary coverage in acute inpatient rehabilitation with secondary coverage in ICF/SNF rehab
- Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient management
- Be available to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by facility operations
Required Qualifications- Active State of Hawaii Physical Therapist license required by assignment start date
- Minimum 6 months of work experience in at least one of the following adult care settings: acute care, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing facility (SNF)
- Acute inpatient experience is required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in an acute rehabilitation hospital setting
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR documentation systems
