Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 5x8 shifts (9:00 AM–5:30 PM); 4x10 schedule available by request (8:00 AM–4:00 PM with one weekday off). Monthly weekend coverage required in acute setting. May be required to work one holiday per 13-week contract.
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services primarily in an outpatient clinic setting
- Deliver acute care physical therapy services during monthly weekend coverage rotations
- Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Document patient progress and treatment notes accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across outpatient and acute care settings
Required Qualifications- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required (may apply immediately upon offer)
- BLS certification required
- Experience in both outpatient clinic and acute care settings
- Must not reside within 100 miles of the facility (local candidates are not accepted)
- Minimum one year of prior travel therapy experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Familiarity with travel contract compliance requirements and documentation processes
