Key Responsibilities- Examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
- Implement therapeutic techniques and interventions in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Educate patients on condition management strategies to support long-term health outcomes
- Develop fitness and wellness programs to support healthier and more active lifestyles
- Float to other units or areas as required within the facility
Required Qualifications- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Texas Physical Therapist licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Minimum of 2 years of overall Physical Therapist experience
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with MEDHOST electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Familiarity with inpatient rehab workflows and multidisciplinary care teams
