Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00–17:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services to an average daily census of approximately 25 patients, shared across a small therapy team
- Conduct 8–12 patient visits per day across orthopaedic and geriatric populations
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in alignment with individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient progress and discharge planning
- Participate in facility orientation, including completion of required training modules
- Be prepared to serve on an emergency response or relief team in the event of a declared emergency, as directed by unit management
Required Qualifications- Active Louisiana State Physical Therapy License or compact license — must be in hand at time of submittal
- Current BLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in specialty — new graduates will not be considered
- Specialization or strong experience in orthopaedics and geriatrics
- Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as reflected on driver's license) — local travelers are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel therapy experience is a plus; first-time travelers will be considered
- Familiarity with high-volume, fast-paced inpatient or outpatient therapy environments
