Key Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
  • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
  • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring design of functional treatment programs that support effective return to community activities.
  • Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations.
  • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and fulfilling continuing education requirements.
  • Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional activities and organizations.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Physical Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific State Practice Act and professional code of conduct.
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • 1–2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience.
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience strongly preferred.
  • New graduates will be considered for this opportunity.
