Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities.
Complete thorough medical record documentation in a clear, concise, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
Ensure all care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals as required for patient care.
Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned.
Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; actively pursue professional development through continuing education and professional organizations.
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Oklahoma.
Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and ethical standards.
Competency in safe patient handling and compliance with applicable safety policies and procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality of care initiatives.
Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students in a clinical environment.
