Key Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry
  • Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge and effective return to community activities
  • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients
  • Participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned
  • Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act, maintain professional licensure in good standing, and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Arizona
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 10–12 visits per day within an 8-hour shift
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
  • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and safe patient handling practices
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience treating a diverse age population across orthopedic and sports-related diagnoses
  • Availability for a minimum 6-month contract engagement
  • Involvement in continuing education, professional organizations, or self-directed professional development
