    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week | Day Shift with one evening until 5:30 PM | Outpatient

    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
    • Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    • Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional organizations; maintain an individualized professional development plan
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey
    • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
    • Experience in orthopedic physical therapy
    • Ability to complete thorough clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements
    • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and adherence to professional and ethical standards
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
    • Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
