Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with movement dysfunctions, pain, and functional limitations due to injury, illness, or disability
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other evidence-based techniques
- Work to restore patient function, manage pain, and improve overall quality of life
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and wellness strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient progress and goal attainment within a long-term care setting
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience (required)
- Active Texas PT license or valid compact state license recognized in Texas (required)
- Ability to work within a long-term care (LTC) environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility setting
- Experience creating and executing individualized, goal-oriented care plans
